Diablo 4 introduced several new activities and features for players to experience in Season of the Construct, but one highly anticipated addition was noticeably absent at launch. The Gauntlet, a weekly challenge dungeon along with the leaderboard system, was first announced during BlizzCon 2023 and was slated to be released during Season 3.
However, just before Season 3 launched, Blizzard announced a delay for the Gauntlet, pushing its release to "a few weeks" into the season. This was later reported to be February 13th, but even that got delayed, with no further release date in sight. Now for the 3rd time, Blizzard has officially announced when the Gauntlet is going to launch and we hope that no further delays will happen. Here is everything you need to know!

What is the Gauntlet in Diablo 4?
The Gauntlet is a fixed endgame dungeon in Diablo 4 that will rotate weekly. It features its own scoring system and leaderboards for each rotation, allowing players to compete for top positions. Leaderboards will be categorized by class, party size, as well as softcore or hardcore gameplay.
Players will receive rewards such as seals and cosmetics based on their leaderboard rankings, providing players with a competitive outlet within the game, as well as more reasons to gear up and improve their characters. Diablo 4 Gauntlet & Leaderboards Official Release Date
While there hasn't been an official announcement on any of Blizzard's social media channels, they have updated the information on their Season 3 section of the website. The Gauntlet, as well as the leaderboards for Diablo 4, are going to release on the 27th of February, 2024. This date might be disappointing to some fans of the genre, as it will compete with the release of Last Epoch, which is a highly-anticipated ARPG that many players are waiting to try out.
That is everything you need to know about the release date of the new Gauntlet weekly challenge dungeon, as well as the leaderboard system. Hopefully, this time Blizzard actually releases the mode, so players can test out their characters and compete for some cool in-game rewards.
