FFXIV's patch 6.55 ends a long four-month content gap for Final Fantasy, serving up a ton of new MSQ content, characters, and more for the second part of the 6.5 patch cycle. At this time, Final Fantasy XIV servers are down for a 24-hour maintenance block to implement the patch. Release times for FFXIV's patch 6.55 vary a lot based on your time zone, so we've broken things down for you in the bullet points below.
- 2a.m. PST for the West Coast of North America
- 5a.m. EST for the East Coast of North America
- 10a.m. GMT for the U.K.
- 11a.m. CET for west mainland Europe

FFXIV Patch 6.55 Content:
- The MSQ shall advance, most notably with the addition of the first-ever female Hrothgar character known as Wuk Lamat. The MSQ is likely to pivot hard and fast to steer our characters toward Tuliyollal, and we should also expect to see the beginnings of Krile's journey toward becoming our first Pictomancer.
- The Manderville Relic Weapons. Folks are eager to finish up the Relic Weapon quest chain with Hildibrand (some more than others) and get their hands on their Relic Weapon's final form. - Tataru's Grand Endeavour is due another chapter in FFXIV's patch 6.55, and this may well be its last. It's a fun little piece of side content, not to be taken too seriously, and most enjoyable when you're just looking for a cozy night of lowkey gameplay.
- Patch 6.55 Will introduce a new trial known as 'The Gilded Araya.' Here you will face off against Asura, another heavy nod to fans of FF4 who have already seen Rubicante, Zeromus, and more familiar faces make big appearances during Endwalker.
- Endwalker Allied Tribe Quests will arrive in patch 6.55. These require you to have maxed reputations with the Lopporits, the Arkasodara, and Omicrons to complete, so, if you haven't done so, you've got plenty of work to do before the launch of Dawntrail!
