Granblue Fantasy Relink: Best Vane Build Guide

Granblue Fantasy: Relink does not have many dedicated Tank characters, but Vane is one of the few that fall into that role.

Despite being a Tank he can dish out some great damage with his massive axe, and in this guide we’ll go over how you can build him as a bruiser, to both take damage and deal a huge amount of it.

Who’s Vane

A knight of valor, he pours his heart and soul into protecting his homeland, his friends, and his comrades-in-arms.

Vane is an axe wielding Water element character. He is one of Granblue Fantasy: Relink’s few dedicated tanks and is a great pick for any team, either as a DPS or as a support.

Although he is somewhat slow he more than makes up for it with his high damage numbers and survivability. 

He is a great unit to have and build up and in this guide we’ll go over just how you can build him to be both a great tank and an amazing DPS!

Vane Best Skills

When it comes to Vane’s skills we believe that the following 4 are the ones that help him dish out the most damage while being able to survive standing face to face with even the toughest of raids!

Vane Best Skills

Arm Destruction

• A frontal shockwave attack that deals a high amount of stun

Drakenstolz

• Grants Guts, ATK↑, and DEF↑ to Vane.

Energy Destruction

• A powerful sweeping attack. Deals more damage based on how full Vane's SBA gauge is.

Rampart

• Casts a circle around Vane that grants Invincibility. Hold while casting to prolong the duration.

Vane Best Weapon

For this build we believe that the ATK weapon - [Treuer Krieger] works best on Vane. Here are all of the weapon’s stats at level 65.

Although we recommend Treuer Krieger, you can always replace it for [Ukonvasara] for a Crit Rate boost to increase you damage even more.

Vane Best Sigils

For sigils we recommend going between a mix of survivability and offense sigils. In the table below you can see all of the sigils that we recommend for this build.

• Raises maximum health as a proportion of your current maximum health.

Health

• Boosts base health.

Critical Hit Rate

• Boosts critical hit rate.

Stamina

• Boosts attack based on how high your health is.

Quick Cooldown

• Shortens skill cooldowns.

Cascade

• Shortens skill cooldowns whenever you hit a foe. Effect strength changes based on the attack type.

Summary

All in all, Vane is a great crewmember to have and is a lifesaver in many situations, not only can he Taunt the enemies away, but he can also withstand a lot of their attacks giving you the opportunity to deal a lot of damage.

If you decide to use him, rather than leave him to the AI, then you can definitely deal a ton of damage with him, even surpassing some dedicated DPS characters.
