Solo Leveling Episode 2 Summary

In Solo Leveling Episode 2, Song gives Sung credit for his ability to pay attention while also asking him to tend to his wound. After thinking back on his encounters with B-Rank dungeons, Song concludes that the enormous statue that fired the laser beam was either an A or S-Rank enemy. Sung wonders if the God mentioned in the text is the enormous statue figure and questions the God mentioned in the text.

Sung and his friends encounter a God statue and must devise an effective escape plan. Recalling the first commandment, Sung bends down before the statue, indicating that it is the god mentioned in the scripture. More statues draw near our hunters, and Sung gestures for Kim and Joohee to head for the altar. A female hunter manages to break free and escape as Sung commands everyone to focus on the statues. More hunters follow after the female hunter and Song tells Joohee to take Sung and leave him alone, but she refuses to go. Song has no choice but to knock her out and take her with him leaving Sung alone. Sung is left all alone and is overpowered by the statues when he attempts to retaliate. Before the final flame extinguishes, one of the statues strikes Sung, but not before a log informs him that he is qualified to become a "Player." It tells him he has two seconds to accept or face certain death.
