In the latest episode of the show, we witnessed preparations for the impending battle from both opposing sides.  King Lloyd asked Rose personally to check how far are the demon troops from the Kingdom.

During their conversation, we learned more about Rose's past, which had been very vague until now. It was revealed that Rose had served as a battalion commander in a previous conflict, where unfortunately, most of her subordinates lost their lives.

Rose holds herself accountable for their deaths and continues to carry the burden of guilt to this day. She bears a scar on her right eye from that tragic battle, a constant reminder of her past. Due to this trauma, she refuses the King's request to return to her role as a battalion commander in the upcoming fight.

Rose shares with the King that saving people is not the sole reason why she created the Rescue Squad. She admits that she is searching for a comrade who will not meet the same fate as her fallen soldiers. She sees great potential in Usato and believes he could fulfill that role.

Another intriguing moment was the Demon Army's bridge construction which could speed up their advancement to the Kingdom. Despite her orders to merely observe, Rose destroyed the bridge. Additionally, it was revealed that Rose and Amira share a connection from their past.

Later in the episode, Usato delivers a letter to Orga and Ururu, informing them that they are being summoned for war. After assisting in healing some injured residents, Usato was suddenly approached by Amako. She showed him a shocking prophecy depicting his friends being brutally killed by the Black Knight. The episode concluded with Usato stunned by this horrifying vision.
