The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic Episode 7: Recap

At the beginning of the episode, we see Rose informing King Lloyd about the approaching Demon Army and how she destroyed their bridge to slow them down. After learning the disturbing news, the King summons Suzune and Kazuki and informs them that the war will start soon.

Later that night, Usato is awakened by a knock on his window. It turns out to be Kazuki, who is trying to wake him up for a talk. Kazuki confesses to Usato that he is scared to go to war and feels very self-conscious. However, Usato manages to calm his friend down and reassures him that everything will be okay.

The next morning, King Lloyd announces to all citizens and soldiers that the kingdom will soon be at war with the Demon Lord's Army. After that, we see everyone slowly preparing for the demon's invasion.

Rose summons Usato to her room where she gives him some final instructions and advice before the battle. She warns him to be careful when choosing whom to heal in the heat of the fight. Rose then presents him with his personal Rescue Squad uniform and instructs him to avoid dying at all costs.

The episode ends with Usato determined to change the tragic future that he witnessed in the vision.
