WoW SoD Phase 3: How to Tame a Core Hound Guide

Since a lot of new content and changes were added to Season of Discovery in Phase 3, there seem to be even more surprises for players this time around. Hunters have been getting some great new pet taming options, like the Wyvern during Phase 1.

This time around, it was discovered that Hunters can tame a Core Hound as a pet so we will be taking a look as to how you can get your hands on this two-headed infernal beast.

WoW SoD: How to Tame a Core Hound as a Hunter

You will first need to get your hands on the new Rapid Killing rune that was added in Phase 3. You can see our guide as to how you can get the rune. Once you have gotten your rune you will also get an Infernal Lasso trinket that will help you with the Core Hound taming process.

You will then need to enter Molten Core to find yourself a Core Hound. The instance is found deep inside Blackrock Mountain, specifically in the Blackrock Depths dungeon so you will need a group to help you get there.

Once you have found your future companion, simply use the trinket on the Core Hound to root him so you can then begin taming him.
