What is the Giveback Custom Convene
The Giveback Custom Convene is a type of event that the developers behind Wuthering Waves set up to compensate the players for the various issues that came to light with the game’s release earlier this week.
This event is a way for players to get a free 5-star standard character of their choice, and it will be available to all players who have completed the necessary prerequisites.

How to Get Free 5-star Character
To get the free 5-star character, you need to have completed the following prerequisites:
- Be [Union 8] or higher
- Have unlocked the [Convene] function
Players who have completed any of the two listed above will receive a Voucher of Reciprocal Tides in their mail on May 26 at 10:00 AM (UTC+8).
After you have claimed the voucher from your mail, you will need to open the Convene function by using F3 on your keyboard and use the voucher on the Custom 5-star Convene Giveback Event.
There, you will be able to pick one of the following 5-star characters:
- Verina
- Encore
- Calcharo
- Lingyang
- Jianxin
