Wuthering Waves: Ultimate Reroll Guide

Rerolling is a big part of starting any Gacha game for the first time, especially if you’re going to be free-to-play. Wuthering Waves is no exception to this, as you’ll have the opportunity to grab a few 5-star characters just by using all the free pulls you get at the beginning of the game.

Wuthering Waves: Is It Worth Rerolling?

The short answer to this question would be “no”. 

The long explanation of why you shouldn’t waste your time rerolling in Wuthering Waves is the following:

• Wuthering Waves does not have a 'Guest Login' option. This means you'll have to register a new account for each reroll attempt. This will drastically slow down the process.
• Salting didn't work in the CBT, but apparently, it should work now if you create an account with the website. It will allow you to skip the "create 50 emails" step.
• It takes approximately 35-45 minutes to complete the tutorial and reach the point where you can actually begin pulling.
• The game's rates are low (0.8% chance for a 5-star Character), which may require a whole day of rolling to obtain one 5-star.
• You are guaranteed to get a 5-star Character from the Novice Convene within the first 50 pulls (costing 40 pulls), followed by another 5-star of your choice within the next 80 pulls. Even if you do not reroll, you will always have two 5-star characters to start with.

Wuthering Waves: How to Reroll

Unfortunately, there’s only one reroll method currently available in Wuthering Waves and it involves a big time-sink as we mentioned before. The process looks something like this:

1. Log in to the game with a new email.
2. Go through the tutorial and early story until you unlock Convene for about 35-45 minutes.
3. Then suffer as you're doing your pulls.
4. Log out and log in with a new email.

In order to shorten the time you need to spend, make sure to never stray from the path and focus on going through the tutorial as fast as possible. Make sure to skip any dialog in Wuthering Waves when the option is available. You can go through the following steps each time so you don’t get sidetracked:

1. You wake up in a strange place, not knowing how you got there. You will meet Yangyang and Chixia soon after.
2. Chase after them and Yangyang will join your team.
3. After meeting Baizhi, you will fight with the Crownless - this will be your first true combat test.
4. Once the Crownless is defeated, you will have a short talk with Jinhsi's projection. Your next goal is reaching the town of Jinzhou. While hunting monsters for their Echoes will be tempting, ignore it for now and just focus on reaching the town.
5. When you enter Jinzhou, Chixia will join your team! Continue the main quest and head to the City Hall to meet Sanhua. From here, you will need to find the Huaxu Academy.
6. After talking with Mortefi and doing the Simulation with Baizi at the academy, you will do your tutorial pull and obtain Baizhi. Now, grab the pre-register rewards from the mail and start pulling!
